“The day wasn’t anything special. No going out with a bang. It was just a normal day. They were walking home from lunch at the local cafe, crossing the road. It hadn’t even been a red light- the light had already turned green. But still, that didn’t stop a car from rushing out towards them, almost barreling into her.
