I would like to ...

By Kentaro Kawada

I would like to see some friends

Like a reunited family

I would like to hear there's school

Like a stranded man waiting for the noise of a helicopter rescue

I would like to carelessly touch busses handle

As carelessly like i've never been

I would like to smell some good air

Like a newborn jasmine flower

I would like to taste some fresh nice food

as nice as a shower after camp

I would beg to have some new masks

like a person striving to get a job

I would like to feel safe

like i'm in a vault with people who i trust

I would like to play baseball

In my home fields most balanced ground

I would like to know how the corona virus is going to die

More curious than a new born baby

I would like to be a person who is stronger than the virus

As strong as a tardigrade.
